We are looking for a talented and motivated UK Equity Portfolio Manager to join our team. As a Portfolio Manager, you will be responsible for managing your own book of business, generating alpha through a disciplined investment approach, and delivering excellent client service. The successful candidate will have a strong track record of outperforming the market and will be able to demonstrate their expertise in managing UK equities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage your own book of business, including the development and implementation of investment strategies, research, and portfolio construction
  • Conduct fundamental analysis of individual companies, including financial modeling, industry research, and peer group analysis
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the UK equity market, including market trends, economic indicators, and regulatory changes
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, including regular reporting and updates on portfolio performance and market insights
  • Collaborate with other portfolio managers and analysts to share knowledge, ideas, and best practices
  • Monitor and manage risk at both the individual stock level and portfolio level
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, news, and trends, and incorporate this information into investment decisions
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of ESG factors and their impact on investment decisions
  • Participate in sales meetings with clients, intermediaries, and other stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain relationships with sell-side analysts and other industry contacts
