Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated and passionate Upper Key Stage 2 (UKS2) Teacher to join a dynamic primary school in Doncaster. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons to Year 5 and Year 6 students, fostering a positive learning environment, and supporting pupils' academic and personal development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons tailored to the needs of UKS2 students.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
  • Assess and monitor students' progress, providing constructive feedback to support their growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement the curriculum.
  • Maintain open communication with parents and caregivers regarding student progress and development.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching Upper Key Stage 2 (Year 5 and Year 6).
  • Strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum.
  • Excellent classroom management skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
