Underwriter (Bridging/Development Finance) - Kent (Office based)
Our client is one of the fastest growing lenders in the Property Finance market, specialising with Bridging and Development Finance loans.
As an Underwriter, your main responsibility will be working with the underwriting team to ensure business growth with effective risk management and seamless drawdown of funds to borrowers.
You will be responsible for:
- Liaising with valuers, solicitors, and intermediaries as appropriate
- Ensuring all client files are complete and accurate
- Ensuring all deals underwritten comply with the Company’s lending criteria
- Completing all credit papers accurately and in a timely fashion
- Projecting positivity, professionalism, and knowledge across all communications
- Working closely with the wider team to ensure deals progress smoothly and efficiently
Minimum requirements:
- Previous underwriting experience within Property Finance (Bridging Finance experience is desirable)
- Analytical and methodical thinking
- Ability to take ownership and management of tasks to successfully deliver a high-quality service
- Ability to communicate at all levels
- A can-do attitude and the drive to learn
- Be flexible in your approach to work
- Go the extra mile to get the job done
- Confident and effective communicator/influencer/negotiator
- Self-motivated to deliver high quality service
Package:
Up to £50k Basic (Depending on experience)
On-going training and development.
