A leading independent reinsurance group with anInternational presence based in the heart of the City of London. The team youWill be joining will be focused on Energy and property reinsurance business ona global scale. The business is currently going through a transformationprocess, presenting a very interesting opportunity and a great time to join thecompany.

Your new role
Working in a small team, you will be reportingdirectly into the Chief Underwriting Officer and learning from them on a 1-2-1basis. Responsibilities will be centred around day-to-day underwritingactivities, whilst also having a hand in calibrating pricing tools and involvedwith marketing the company.
They have a plan in place to progress the correctcandidate to gain an underwriting authority within 2-3 years.

What you'll need to succeed

• Strong interest to work in the Insurance industry (Ideally prior experience up to 1 year)
• Academic interest in Energy / Property
• Willingness to learn about the industry
• Patience to learn about the market / practices before gaining an authority to underwrite
