Your new role
In your new role you will be responsible for the underwriting and administrative departments. Working with Team Leaders to ensure all processes are followed, resulting in clear auditable workflows and exceptional performance and efficiency delivery. Focusing on performance and compliance management along with the training and development of all underwriters and support staff. To be responsible for the underwriting and administrative departments. You'll focus on performance and compliance management along with the training and development of all underwriters and support staff. The Manager will have a credit mandate and must therefore have the ability to underwrite any of the business that their team are working. You will deliver and oversee the delivery of all aspect of training required across the department to ensure that process you manage are embedded within the day-to-day Underwriting functions.

What you'll need to succeed

You'll be an experienced Bridging Underwriter with Credit experience preferable. You will be an organised leader with excellent attention to detail and time management skills. You will be well experienced user of Microsoft suite and the ability to adapt to using different CRM systems as required. You will be an experienced people manager with strong influencing and communication skills. You'll hold excellent stakeholder management skills and extensive experience in the lending and specifically unregulated lending space.
