Eames is currently partnered with a leading specialities insurer who is on the search for an Underwriting MI analyst to join their team.

The Management Information department serves as a crucial support function for my client, providing vital information and insights to facilitate decision-making across the business. As the backbone of data-driven business insights, the MI team plays a pivotal role in helping the organization achieve its goals and objectives.

Day-to-day Responsibilities

  • Supporting FRS underwriting with data and analysis.
  • Acting as key point of contact for the MI Department providing business knowledge where applicable.
  • Collecting and interpreting requirements for PowerBI reporting to deliver new reports.
  • Working with the supporting service functions to develop FRS engagement/solutions.
  • Promoting the use of data and the profile of MI within the FRS team.
  • Researching new data availability that will enrich current data offerings and reports.

The successful applicant will likely have:

  • Specific insurance domain knowledge and data requirements.
  • Excellent knowledge of PowerBI and SQL SSMS with the ability to demonstrate knowledge around building high quality reports.
  • Effectively interacting and efficiently communicating with stakeholders to understand what kind of information they need.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information to non-technical stakeholders.
