We are currently working with a Lloyd syndicate looking to expand their Operations team with the addition of a talented individual for their Underwriting support. This Lloyd's syndicate is proud to have a valued reputation within the insurance market where it has delivered unrivalled underwriting and claims expertise.

Reporting into the Head of Operations you will play a key part in supporting the Underwriters and ensuring Operations Excellence within the wider Operations team. As well as supporting the underwriters you will be ensure the controls and processes are robustly adhered to.

Responsibilities:

  • Working with Underwriters, Actuarial, Finance and Outwards Reinsurance to prepare Syndicate Business Forecast (SBF) for Lloyd's.
  • Working with various stakeholders to report on various internal and external 'non-financial' reports
  • Ensure data control & ownership is managed accurately entered into the Policy admin system (PAS)
  • Act as an internal broker to assist the Underwriting, Claims and Finance
  • Be the key point of contact for system support for the internal PAS and External systems to the Underwriting teams
  • Lead and deliver projects within Operations and across the business

Key skills & knowledge:

  • Ability to analyse, interpret, review and present data
  • Organisation & time management - Co-ordinate and perform multiple time sensitive tasks
  • Relationship Management - build both internal & external relationships
  • Development - Desire to develop further knowledge of the Lloyds market
  • Advanced Excel skills
