Are you seeking a new opportunity to broaden your experience? Have you previously worked with children in a school and wish to enhance your personal skills?

A brilliant Primary school in Selly Oak, Birmingham are seeking an Unqualified Teaching Assistant to help support children with SEND/SEMH needs throughout the school day. This role will involve working with pupils in a 1:1 and small group setting, assisting them with Maths, Reading, Writing and more.

Experience working with children is highly desirable in terms of potential candidates - a good understanding of SEN is also recommended. This role will involve supporting children in and out of the classroom, as well as helping class teachers to deliver class material.

This role is for an ASAP start.

  • Unqualified Teaching Assistant in a Selly Oak Primary School
  • Supporting children with SEND/SEMH needs
  • Working across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
  • General classroom support
  • £105 - £110 per day
  • Monday - Friday, Term-Time only
  • Long-Term, Full- Time role
  • ASAP start

The Ideal Unqualified Teaching Assistant - Primary Candidate

  • Must hold a degree from a reputable University (1st Class or 2:1)
  • A passion for education, learning and working with children
  • Experience within a school and working with young people with additional needs
  • A good understanding of SEN/SEMH needs
