Urgent: Mid-level Python Developer Needed for Commodities Database Project

Location: London, UK (hybrid)

Contract: 6-month rolling, up to £500 per day

Immediately available

I am seeking a skilled mid-level Python Developer to join my clients cloud-based Commodities Database project immediately.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop reporting tools, data standards, access, and validation
  • Manage and test ETL processes
  • Construct and manage databases
  • Build data visualization tools and dashboards

Required Skills:

  • Strong Python development experience
  • AWS, GitHub, SQL, ETL
  • Database construction/management
  • Data visualization (Dash/Tableau, PowerBI)
  • Agile methodologies (TDD, BDD)
  • DevOps/CloudOps familiarity

Desired:

  • Commodities markets experience
  • Experience in Energy Trading or Market Data

You'll need excellent communication skills and the ability to work proactively in an Agile team environment. Some on-site work in London required (1+ days/week).
