We're working exclusively with a leading Lloyd’s syndicate seeking a driven and experienced US Property Binders Underwriter to join their expanding team.
About the Role: You will be responsible for managing and underwriting a portfolio of US property binder business, working with MGAs and coverholders across the United States. This is a strategic, high-impact role, with key responsibilities including:
Underwriting and pricing US property delegated authority business
Developing and maintaining strong broker and coverholder relationships
Conducting due diligence and onboarding of new binder arrangements
Portfolio management, performance analysis, and profitability monitoring
Working closely with actuarial, claims, and compliance teams to ensure best practices
About You:
Experience in US property delegated authority (binders, MGAs, or coverholders)
In-depth knowledge of Lloyd’s market practices and regulatory frameworks
Strong commercial acumen and decision-making capability
Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills
Confident communicator with a proactive, can-do attitude
