UX/UI Designer - London/Hybrid - £42,000 - 5% pension, private medical, rewards, EAP, 25 days holiday (increases with years of service) + 8 days bank holiday + company holidays, mental health days, buddy system, progression and development opportunities

I have a new and exciting opportunity to join a reputable business within the events sector. Their exciting platform is a one stop data-driven solution for their clients. You will work within the wider design team of 3 and you will play an integral part in the ongoing design and development of materials to support the business. You will be an experienced and confident individual who is passionate about helping businesses understand the ways in which their unique platform can help them maximise their offerings. The role is 3 days remote and 2 days in their central London office.

The Role

You will work within the creative design team of 4 people (including yourself). As a UX/UI designer, you will be key to the ongoing design and development of materials to support the team and the business - both internally and externally. You will have a minimum of 5 years commercial experience working with design systems and approval process; and will be confident and passionate about UI/UX, the whole process right from initial conception through to completion. You will play an integral part in ensuring that projects are completed on time and to a high quality, prioritise and manage multiple projects within design specifications and budget restrictions and work alongside other departments to help design and build the events collateral. You will be confident and fluent with prototyping; and have a strong portfolio to showcase. You will be passionate about the industry, ready to take your career to the next level and keep growing in the industry!

Skills and experience

• Undertake a product design role involoving both UI and UX as well as other design tasks linked to sales and marketing.
• Good at high fidelity prototyping and a working knowledge of accessibility.
• Work with a wide range of media and confidently use multiple types of design processes and software including but not exclusive to Figma, JIRA and the Adobe suite.
• Prioritise and manage multiple projects within design specifications and budget restrictions.
• Work with the rest of the design team to ensure that work is completed to a high standard and approved for development.
• A knowledge of design AI tools is beneficial.
