This position is to assist Royal Mail with their backlog of work and cover for holidays etc. There is the potential for this position to be on-going but that is solely reliant on the work levels of Royal Mail and your Performance. From scorching summer days to the depths of winter, postal workers play a vital role, delivering the mail. It’s a physically demanding job - but it’s one the nation relies on.

Job Responsibilities:

• Sort the mail/parcels for your route
• Check your vehicle and sometimes couple with a colleague for your round
• Spend between five and seven hours delivering mail/parcels outdoors per day
• Work shifts between the 08:30am - 5pm (this may fluctuate)
• Cover periods of leave for a fixed number of routes (so you’ll need to be a bit flexible on the location you go to)

Mon - Sat £13.37 per hour

Sunday £14.49 per hour
