LOCATION:                        Southampton (SO14)
RATE:                                 £12.60 ph
DURATION:                       TEMP
SHIFT PATTERN:               Fully Flex (Temp/FT/PT/ADHOC)

THE ROLE:
Rapier Employment is looking for hard-working and reliable Car and Heavy Lashers to work within the busy shipping environment in Southampton. The role involves working to a high level of care in a very busy environment. The main purpose of the role is preparation and ensuring that cars and heavy plant being shipped abroad are held in a safe position for delivery onwards around the world. You will be working in an industrial environment and this work is of a heavy nature. 

Job Description

  • Daytime time shifts and operations usually start at 8am.
  • Fully Flex shifts during the week and weekends; the flexibility of availability is key for this role!

Requirements
  • Be able to travel to Southamption Docks and be UK based with the right to work in the UK.
  • 18+ Years Old for insurance purposes
  • Physically fit
  • Safety Shoes / Boots
  • Experience in a similar role is desirable
  • This is a day shift position, ad-hoc, part-time hours available, currently, start times do include weekends and Bank Holidays. The flexibility of availability is key for this role.
