Vehicle Mechanic

My client is an established provider of mechanical and electrical repairs based in Bristol. Due to ongoing demand, they are looking for a Vehicle Mechanic to carry repairs and diagnostics of customer vehicles. The successful candidate will be a competent vehicle mechanic with 5 years experience working on petrol and diesel powered vehicles. You must also be based within commutable distance of Bristol.

Vehicle Mechanic Position Overview

• Carrying out diagnostics on a range of vehicles
• Performing road tests
• Servicing and mechanical repairs
• Ensuring parts are stocked
• Advising customers on repairs
• Workshop based position
• Working alone and within a team

Vehicle Mechanic Position Requirements

• 5 years experience working as a Vehicle Mechanic
• Level 3 qualification in Motor Mechanics. Level 2 also considered
• Diagnostics experience is beneficial
• EV experience beneficial
• UK Driving licence
• Based within commutable distance of Bristol

Vehicle Mechanic Position Remuneration

• Salary £30,000 - £35,000
• Overtime available paid at 1.5x
• Bonus scheme
• Training and progression opportunities
• Hours Monday - Friday 08:00 - 16:30, no weekends
• 22 days holiday plus bank holidays

• Pension
