Multi Vehicle Mechanic - Experience required 
  • Job Type: Full-time or Part-time
  • Location: Gloucester
  • Salary: Standard Technician £16-19.50/hour - Master Technician - £20-24/hour

Reed are seeking skilled Vehicle Mechanics to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and electronic components of vehicles, including cars, vans, and HGVs. This role requires a professional who is adept at using diagnostic equipment to identify and repair mechanical issues, ensuring high-quality service and safety standards are met.

Day to day of the role:
  • Diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicles, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard.
  • Perform routine maintenance and thorough vehicle inspections.
  • Utilize diagnostic equipment to accurately identify mechanical problems.
  • Work collaboratively with other mechanics and team members to enhance service quality.
  • Adhere to all safety precautions to prevent accidents and protect against hazardous fluids and chemicals.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Mechanic.
  • In-depth knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic components of vehicles.
  • Proficiency in using vehicle diagnostic systems and methods.
  • Ability to handle various tools and heavy equipment safely and effectively.
  • Commitment to observing all safety precautions and protocols.
Qualifications:
  • A vocational school certification or completion of an apprenticeship is highly preferred.
