Vehicle Technician/Fitter

Location - Malvern, Fulltime - Permanent -Up to £30,000 DOE

My client, a leading global manufacturer of performance fire and rescue vehicles is looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician/Fitter to join their team, making a real difference across the world.

The Role:

• Working on various Rescue vehicles to customer specification within timescale
• Installing PTO's, gearboxes, drive lines, pumps, hydraulic lines, and fittings.
• Working on vehicle chassis and associated equipment
• Working with cutters (Gas/mechanical)
• Working from engineering drawings and fabricate assemblies accordingly.
• Working at height or under vehicles.
• Occasional working off site.

The Person:

• Experience with air and electrically operated hand tools.
• Experience working on fire vehicles - advantageous
• Ability to work to a very high standard within a small team.
• Excellent communication skills

The Benefits:

• 4.5 days week (7-4 mon-thurs / Fri 1pm finish)
• 25 days holiday plus Banks
• Sick pay after qualifying period
