**Vehicle Technician, Poole - Possibility of a 4 day working week!! Saturdays are worked on a Rota basis and paid at Overtime rates**

Are you a proactive and hardworking qualified Vehicle Technician seeking an opportunity to join a well-established client in Poole, Dorset?

Our client is looking for dedicated Vehicle Technicians in the Poole area to become part of their expanding team.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicles, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.
  • Perform MOT tests in accordance with regulatory requirements and company procedures.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues efficiently.
  • Utilise diagnostic equipment and technical manuals to identify and resolve vehicle problems.
  • Keep accurate records of work performed and parts used.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and customers regarding vehicle issues and recommended repairs.

Experience essential for this role:

  • Previous experience as a vehicle technician, ideally within a main dealership
  • Hold a Level 2/3 qualification in Light Vehicle maintenance
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of automotive systems
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Flexible approach to work and willingness to adapt to changing priorities
  • Relevant qualifications or certifications in vehicle maintenance and repair are desirable
  • MOT certificate is a bonus
