VNA and/or Reach Truck Drivers needed

Job Type: Temp to Perm

Working Hours: Friday to Monday 6-2 or 2-10

Salary: £12.50-14.50 per hour + Overtime

The Client:
Our client is a well-established leader in the supply of FMCG and are known worldwide. With significant annual turnover and multiple locations across the UK and Ireland, they have a strong reputation for working on both high-value, complex projects and smaller, bespoke residences.

Job Purpose:
Reach Truck or VNA driving, you will support your colleagues in putting away pallets nto he racking, replenishment of goods and general goods in work

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene, and security of the work environment and products
  • Liaise with internal colleagues regarding customer orders and deliveries
  • Support colleagues in the warehouse to ensure products are produced to excellent standards
  • Receive and store goods in the warehouse safely
  • Use of hand scanners
  • Perform any other reasonable duties as requested by management

Please note that responsibilities may evolve as the role and business needs develop.

Person Specification:
Essential:
  • Reach Truck and/or VNA licence (national licence in date within the last 3 years)
  • Understanding of and commitment to providing the highest standard of customer service
  • Positive team player with demonstrable ability to work collaboratively with colleagues
  • Attention to detail
  • Operational experience using a laser-guided saw
  • Previous warehouse experience

Desirable:
  • or the VNA to have the abseiling certificate
