Our Bromley Kent based client are recruiting for a 2nd Line Support Engineer to join the IT Department.

They have 40 plus sites across London , South East ,Essex, and Cambridgshire.

Most of the work will be based at the Bromley Kent HQ supportting the Network Manager troubleshooting , supporting ,documenting network issues and deployment plans . You will be also travel to many of their other business sites to to support to Networks.

You will also be installing the new system, door intercoms, testing\terminating data cables if needed.

If you have none or limited experience in door intercoms you will be trained on this at the head offices tech lab.

Supporting our existing customer base to resolve any technical challenges they may encounter.

The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of VOIP, Routers , switches, Wifi, patching , Networking.

Provide full training to the customer and ensuring the customer is fully satisfied with their new system before leaving site.

Ensuring all documentation is complete and returned to HQ.

Skills and experience:

Strong customer service and communication skills.

Demonstrable experience of Telecommunications/IT/Network installations and support.

Knowlege of structured (CAT5/6) cabling , installing and supporting Hosted (VOIP/SIP) telephone solutions such as 3CX, Splicecom, Yealink.

Knowlledge of installing and supporting network hardware such as routers and switches supplied by Draytek, Meraki.

Excellent troubleshooting skills for both on premise and hosted telephony solutions.

Good understanding of SIP, VOIP and networking in general especially network switch and router configuration.

Good organisation skills and a high attention to detail.

A current UK driving license.

Hybrid working. 1or 2 days remote after successful induction period.
