Vice President - Transfer Pricing - FLUENT GERMAN SPEAKER 

Your role in the team:

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Transfer Pricing specialist to work in a dynamic, high-performing environment. The successful candidate will play a critical role in shaping global transfer pricing strategies, ensuring compliance, and identifying opportunities to add value across Berenberg. You will work alongside a talented, cross-functional team, partnering with stakeholders across the Bank to support strategic decision-making. This role offers exposure to complex international operations and provides the platform to make a meaningful impact. What will you do?

•Lead the end-to-end transfer pricing lifecycle, managing processes across our international entities and business units.

•Advice senior stakeholders on strategic transfer pricing matters, including tax planning, permanent establishment risks, and the impact of regulatory changes. 

•Stay current with global transfer pricing developments, ensuring compliance with OECD guidelines and integrating updates into internal policies and frameworks.

•Support in the development of transfer pricing models, including calculation of results and automation of processes.

•Support the implementation and monitoring of transfer pricing policies, including periodic calculations, controls, and responding to internal and external transfer pricing enquiries. 

Who are we looking for?

•Fully qualified Accountant – CTA, ACA, ACCA or qualified by experience.

•Strong technical ability with an excellent knowledge of Transfer Pricing. 

•Extensive professional experience within the tax function of a bank, insurance company, or financial institution, or alternatively, within a top-tier accounting firm.

•Ability to form good working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. 

•Ability to digest Tax technical guidance and communicate to non-Tax technical colleagues.

•Fluent in German

•Proficient user of Outlook and other standard Office programmes

•Strong project management skills

•Positive attitude with a desire to drive constant improvement and change.
