Warehouse Administrator

£25,000 per annum

Chelmsford, Essex

Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm

You must have a valid driving licence and access to a vehicle due to the location of our client's business.

Are you organised, detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced environment? We have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Administrator to join our client's team in Chelmsford, Essex. As a Warehouse Administrator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the hire department. With their continued growth, our client is looking for a dedicated individual who can efficiently complete administrative tasks, coordinate deliveries, and maintain a tidy workplace.

Key Duties:

  • Ensure all hires are prepared and ready for timely delivery
  • Complete and file all hire paperwork accurately
  • Plan the driver's day and ensure prompt departure each morning
  • Verify invoice details, including dates, amounts, and delivery charges
  • Arrange collection of returning hires and off-hire them efficiently
  • Clean and store hire equipment properly, maintaining high standards
  • Log damaged, lost, and faulty equipment with the correct paperwork
  • Accurately pick and box all hires
  • Complete changeovers within allocated timeframes
  • Keep the workplace clean and tidy at all times
  • Organise your day and prioritise your workload effectively

Experience:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Previous experience in a hire/leasing environment
  • Ability to use computerised systems for data entry
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Accurate and efficient typing skills
  • Excellent communication skills
