BJ85 - Warehouse and Distribution Manager
Location: Bristol
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 Per Annum
Working Hours: Monday - Friday (40 hours Per Week)

Overview:

First Military Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Warehouse and Distribution Manager on behalf of our client based in Bristol. This is an excellent and exciting opportunity to join a rapidly expanding retail business with an excellent opportunity of career advancement.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To make sure both internal and external customers get what they want, where they want it, when they want it
  • To provide an industry leading service which is cost effective, compliant with all current legislation, and as safe as reasonably practicable
  • To ensure the warehouse units are kept safe, clean and tidy
  • To manage the main warehouse staff so they perform their functions efficiently and effectively
  • To manage the drivers to ensure legislative compliance, safety and efficient use of resources
  • To implement all aspects of the company health and safety policy


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience within Management in a similar environment
  • A minimum of 12 months experience within a warehouse and distribution environment with experience of both warehouse and driving operations
  • An understanding of current legislation governing transport operations
  • Ideally First Aid trained but not essential
