Warehouse Assembly Operative

Our client is seeking a Warehouse Assembly Operative who will work between two sites until November 2024, then working permanently in Chatham.

The Warehouse Assembly Operative role is offered as a 12 week temp to perm position.

Site one - Rochester near the airport

Site two - Adisham - 15 minutes’ walk from train station

Travel expenses will be reimbursed. This role is offered as a temp to perm position.

The role is mixed, dealing with goods in/out, picking/packing and mechanical assembly - using hand tools to measure and cut metal pipes.

Location: Rochester Air Port - 2-3 days per week

Adisham - 2-3 days per week

Hours: 40 per week

8am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday

Rate: starting from £12.00 ph PAYE, weekly pay via React Recruitment

There will be a slight increase in the pay rate when taken on permanently.

• Picking and packing experience desirable.
• Goods In/Out.
• Logging information on computer system - accurate data entry.
• Able to receive and reply to emails.
• Able to count stock accurately.
• Experience of driving a counterbalance forklift truck desirable/or willing to learn, full training and courses with certification would be provided.
