Warehouse Assistant
My client based in Crawley is looking to recruit a Warehouse Assistant. The role will initially be working Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5pm in the Crawley site but the hours will change once trained to 2pm - 10.15pm. You would also be required to help out at the site in Horsham. (due to the location of the Horsham site a car is required).
The rate of pay for the 8.30am - 5pm shift will be £11.86ph. The pay rate for the 2pm - 10.15pm shift will be £14.47ph.
Responsibilities for a Warehouse Assistant
- Packing goods in temperatures of 15-25C and 2-8c.
- Packing specific products according to given instructions
- Despatching goods ensuring the correct paperwork is allocated.
- Ensuring products are packed efficiently
- Reporting all out of stocks to Senior Member of staff
- Maintain a high level of quality control at all times
- Performing all tasks within set KPI's
- Ensure that the department is tidy at all times
Experience required for a Warehouse Assistant
- Able to work in cold conditions of 2 to 8 degrees
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Accuracy
- Warehouse and Inventory experience required
