Warehouse Assistant

Location: Outskirts of Cambourne

Salary: up to £25k with a quarterly bonus

Hours: 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday onsite (no weekends)

Start Date: ASAP

Our client is seeking a warehouse assistant for their ever expanding team. Working in a modern setting with an International workforce an in a clean and safe environment, your role will be pivotal in the fulfillment of client orders on a daily basis.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform picking and packing duties to fulfil customer orders, to a very high standard.
  • Support in quarterly stock count.
  • Accept and administrate supplier deliveries.
  • Handle heavy lifting of materials and products as required.
  • Stock replenishment.
  • Quality control of products.
  • Utilise picking equipment, such as handheld scanners to fulfil customer orders and administrative tasks.

Skills and Experience

  • Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order fulfilment.
  • Ability to communicate well within a small team (5).
  • Capable of occasional heavy lifting (goods up to 25kg).
  • Ability to multitask when required.
  • Positive mindset to achieve the common goal of the business.
  • Warehouse experience preferred, though not essential.
