An excellent opportunity to join a Non-Profit organisation as a Warehouse Assistant where your role in the warehouse operation and driving of the delivery van will be working for the greater good of the local and wider area community.

Warehouse Assistant job duties:

  • Assist with the smooth running of the warehouse operation
  • Assist with stock control, managing deliveries in and out, and record keeping
  • Driving the delivery van as required
  • Administrative tasks using online warehousing system
  • Uphold high customer care when dealing with stakeholders and the general public, including taking phone calls as required

Skills & experience required:

  • Previous warehouse experience
  • A full UK driving licence is essential
  • Computer literate with a good basic numeracy skills
  • The successful applicant will be subject to a DBS check, the expense of which will be met by the employer

This is a full time role working 37.5 hours per week, mainly Monday to Friday but with flexibility needed for evenings and weekends on occasion. The salary is £23,394 per annum and the role is initially a 6 month fixed term contract which will ideally lead to a permanent position in the long run.
