We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Assistant to join our team, reporting directly to the Warehouse Manager. This role is essential for maintaining the efficiency and effectiveness of our warehouse operations. The Warehouse Assistant will be responsible for a variety of tasks including picking and packing orders, stock control, and maintaining the safety and cleanliness of the warehouse.

• Pick and pack outgoing orders, including engineers’ spare part orders, customer spare part orders, and customer machine orders, ensuring all processes are followed accurately.
• Assist with stock control by ensuring all items are correctly labelled and stored.
• Receive deliveries and manage the maintenance, cleanliness, and safety of the warehouse.
• Conduct rolling stock counts and assist with engineer stock takes as required.
• Build spare part kits for specific customer requirements based on needs.
• Monitor the stock inbox to assist with stock and delivery queries.
• Adhere strictly to warehouse rules and processes to ensure all goods in and out are accounted for properly.

• Forklift license required (candidates without a license must be willing to undergo training and certification).
• Customer-oriented with excellent communication skills.
• Strong teamwork and organisational skills.
• Demonstrates flexibility and a hard-working attitude.
• Basic Excel skills are desirable but not essential.
• Experience in similar warehouse roles is preferred.
