Position: Warehouse FLT

Locations: Flintshire

Contract: Permanent

Hours: 3 shift patterns

Salary: £16.27 per hour

HR GO recruitment is currently looking for a Warehouse FLT driver with either a counterbalance or reach licence for our client based in Deeside, the ideal candidate will be used to working in a fast-paced environment, you will assist in all areas of logistics with the safe movement of stock within the production and warehouse facility.

Main duties:

  • Loading and unloading of vehicles in a safe.
  • Location and picking of stock in a safe, accurate.
  • Accurate checking and unloading of sundry items.
  • Provide accurate information to the logistics team leader.
  • Maintain company stock management system.
  • Provide general assistance within all areas of logistics.
  • Be able to demonstrate a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Have the ability to use your own initiative and demonstrate input into continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Be a confident team player.
  • Show evidence of good communication skills and ability to deal with people at all levels of the business.
  • Demonstrate a flexible and creative approach to work.
  • Have the ability to develop skills via both internal and external training.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Up-to-date certification in the use of Reach and Counterbalance trucks.
  • Have a clear understanding of warehouse and distribution operations within a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of warehouse picking and location process.
  • Ability to work within a team.
  • Good knowledge of stock control and stock rotation practices.
