Warehouse Operative

Job Type: Full-time

Location: Davy Road and Wade Road

Salary: £12.00 - £12.50 per hour

Expected Hours: 37.5 per week

We are looking for a dedicated Warehouse Operative to join our team. The role involves preparing, picking, and loading finished products for dispatch, as well as unloading deliveries of raw materials. The successful candidate will maintain high standards of warehouse cleanliness and comply with company hygiene policies.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Preparing, picking, and loading finished product for dispatch and unloading deliveries materials
  • Maintaining a high standard of warehouse cleaning and housekeeping
  • Completing daily startup check sheets, including Health and Safety checks
  • Completing all goods in and goods out documentation, including relevant CCP checks
  • Complying with company hygiene policies and procedures while maintaining high standards of personal hygiene
  • Operating machinery and equipment as required
  • Working safely with consideration for personal Health & Safety and that of co-workers.
  • Functioning effectively within the operations team, treating other staff members with dignity and respect
  • Completing stock checks and stock rotation in various units.
  • Ensuring all bays in racking are full in unit 2

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Valid Forklift license
  • Minimum of 2 years warehouse experience
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience operating a forklift
  • Driving Licence (required)
  • In-date Counterbalance (B1) certification
