  • Salary: £45,000 - £52,000 (depending on experience)
  • Location: Colnbrook Cargo Centre, Colnbrook, Slough, SL30NW
  • Working Days: Tuesday to Saturday
  • Hours: 19:00 - 05:00

What You’ll Be Doing:

As Warehouse Manager, you’ll be at the heart of our operations, ensuring smooth, efficient processes while upholding our reputation for exceptional service. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Utilising your expertise in freight forwarding to maintain operational efficiency and top-tier customer service.
  • Building and nurturing strong relationships with internal teams, external partners (airlines, customers, freight forwarders), and stakeholders.
  • Managing the interface between Transport & Operations and export facilities.
  • Leading the Warehouse Operative team, overseeing training, inductions, sickness cover, and holiday planning.
  • Managing document processing and shift preparations.
  • Supporting the development of risk assessments and mitigation strategies.
  • Offering out-of-hours support when necessary to ensure continued operations.

What We’re Looking For:

We’re seeking someone with a background in Airfreight, transport and logistics and a proven ability to manage warehouse operations. You’ll need to be organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable working under pressure. Key skills and experience include:

Must-Have:

  • In-depth knowledge of the transport and logistics industry
  • In-depth knowledge of the Airfreight industry
  • Experience in worldwide freight forwarding operations
  • Familiarity with CAA regulations
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with stakeholders
  • Commercial awareness and solid decision-making abilities
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and operational systems

Desirable (but not essential - training will be provided):

  • AVSEC Level CM Trained
  • CTC clearance
