We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative/ Forklift Driver to join our client in Portsmouth to cover the businesses peak period from June - August. You must hold valid forklift licences for both counterbalance and bendi.

As a Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for performing various tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the warehouse.

This will be a physically demanding role with the ideal candidate having the ability to handle products weighing up to 25kg.

Responsibilities:


- Receive, unload, and store incoming inventory items
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently
- Prepare and stage orders for shipment
- Perform inventory counts and maintain accurate records
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
- Maintain a clean and organised work area
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines

Requirements:


- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar role preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Forklift License for Bendi/Flexi and Counterbalance is essential.
- Ability to lift objects (up to 25kg) and stand for extended periods of time
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Basic computer skills for data entry purposes
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
