This company is 100% family owned and Est 1983, the company invented the packaging Amazon uses today and is proudly Europe's largest independent producer of postal packaging, on a mission to eradicate plastics from ecommerce.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities for a Warehouse Operative:

The warehouse team focuses on receiving pallets from production lines and ensuring the safe delivery of the goods to the lorries for storage, and delivery to the customers. We must adhere to warehouse layout plan & working with 3rd party storage and haulage providers. The team is also responsible to ensuring that the print lines are fed with material at all times, so there is no downtime on press.

  • The role of a forklift driver involves but is not limited to the following duties:
  • Ensuring the health and safety policies of the site are upheld
  • Following banksman training to ensure safe manoeuvre of all vehicles on site
  • Loading and unloading materials from a variety of vehicles
  • Moving of materials around the site counterbalance, clamp extension
  • Performing equipment checks and basic maintenance
  • Adhering to all health and safety regulations
  • Keeping a Clean & Safe environment and yard areas ensuring removing rubbish and keeping areas clean including changing of IBC's, Metal Barrels, Pallets and waste products such as ink etc.
  • Checking the PO and FSC matches the delivery note, and lorry.
  • Moving waste bales ready for collection
  • Arranging relevant transfers to offsite storage companies in time for despatch, when required.
  • Ensuring the consumables are delivered to lineside to minimise downtime
  • Helping pick and pack Picking.com orders.
  • Stock takes
