Warehouse Operative - Perm - Full Time

My client is a small business in Cambridge. They are the exclusive UK and Ireland distributor for a growing number of quality beauty and aesthetics brands.

The company, which is located near Cambridge, focuses on supplying high quality products that are fully certified, have been rigorously tested, and are produced by established and reputable manufacturers. They provide high quality products that are scientifically credible and well proven, aiming to provide the very best products at a reasonable price.

Together we are looking for a Warehouse Operative to join their small and friendly team.

Responsibilities:

• Perform picking and packing duties to fulfil customer orders, to a very high standard.
• Support in quarterly stock count.
• Accept and administrate supplier deliveries.
• Handle heavy lifting of materials and products as required.
• Stock replenishment.
• Quality control of products.
• Utilise picking equipment, such as hand-held scanners to fulfil customer orders and administrative tasks.
• other related duties as requested to meet the ongoing needs of the business.

Skills:

• Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order fulfilment.
• Ability to communicate well within a small team (5).
• Capable of occasional heavy lifting (goods up to 25kg).
• Ability to multi-task when required.
• Positive mindset to achieve the common goal of the business.
• Warehouse experience preferred, though not essential.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £24,000.00 per year
