Warehouse Operative - Based in Aston/ Witton

We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative on a permanent basis in a very busy environment.

Our client is one of the largest UK Distributors of vaping and smoking cessation, confectionary and FMCG products to B2B (Wholesalers, Cash and Carries, Convenience stores and Vape Shops) with additional retail platforms direct to B2C.

They began in 2017 and has grown rapidly with currently over 200 employees across our Head office, field sales force and distribution centres.

All of their locations are easily accessible with the Head office in Birmingham City Centre, and their distributions centres are 10 minutes from the Head Office.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Moving around stock as and when needed.
• Goods inwards and receipting of stock
• Location of stock, issuing shortages, stock counts etc.
• Interacting with material controllers and production staff on daily needs and issues
• General picking and packing duties
• Outbound shipping
• Working to teams KPI’s to control processes and key materials
• General housekeeping

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Communication, customer service and interpersonal skills
• Physically fit
• Great work ethic
• Warehouse Experience desired, not Essential

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time

Salary: £11.42- £13 p/h dependant on experience

• 8 hour shift
• Days - 8am/9am - 4pm/5pm- Mon- Friday
• Afternoons - 4/5pm-12am/1am- Sunday - Thursday

Overtime is usually available.

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Birmingham, B6: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £11.42-£13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
