The primary purpose of this position is to work collaboratively within the warehouse team, ensuring timely picking and dispatch of parts. Additionally, the role involves providing support to all departments regarding warehouse and transport matters.

**Guaranteed temp-perm**

1-week rotating shifts:

  • week 1 = Monday to Friday 07:00-15:00 (30-minute break).
  • Week 2 = Monday to Wednesday 12:00 – 22:00, Thursday is 12:00 – 21:30, and Fridays a nonworking day.

Salary: The basic salary is £22,425 per annum, with an additional shift premium added equalling 12.8%

Commercial Responsibilities:

  • Receive incoming goods, cross-checking them against delivery notes, and efficiently maintaining the goods-in area.
  • Communicate directly with customers via telephone, addressing day-to-day inquiries about their orders in a polite and helpful manner.
  • Arrange special transport for customer consignments as needed.
  • Efficiently pick stock and compile customer orders.
  • Adhere to departmental processes, ensuring accurate updates in the SAP system.
  • Undertake special assignments as directed by the management team.

Technical Duties:

  • Familiarise yourself with relevant warehouse software programs and operate them efficiently.
  • Maintain up-to-date manual backup systems.
  • Regularly inspect and maintain items in the transit location.
  • Perform various day-to-day tasks as required.

General Responsibilities:

  • Handle goods safely and follow proper procedures.
  • Safely load and unload goods, using a forklift truck when necessary.
  • Maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment at all times.
  • Accurately pick, pack, and dispatch stock according to daily customer requirements.
  • Strive for zero errors in spare parts picking and packing.
  • Meet daily KPI targets.
  • Actively participate in 5S activities and other team initiatives.

Training and Knowledge:

  • Develop and maintain a working knowledge of SAP processes.
  • Uphold the 5S philosophy and approach within the warehouse.
  • Complete training for forklift (FLT) operation and power pallet trucks.
  • Support and manage appropriate inventory levels.
