Warehouse Operative

Permanent | Full Time, shifts between 7.30am - 6pm | North of Newbury

Are you ready to join an inclusive and dynamic team that values your contribution? Our client, a leading organisation in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Warehouse Operative to support their production facility and warehousing operations.

Own mode of transport is essential due to location.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the Goods In/Out process, on-site and off-site storage, and provide operational support for the production facility.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure timely recording of stock movements and accurate inventory management.
  • Assist with booking in deliveries, stacking shelves, and moving materials between areas and sites.
  • Monitor stock levels, highlighting low stock items to the Procurement and Warehouse Supervisor.
  • Support shipping and despatch by packing and loading shipments.
  • Help with packaging, labelling, and stock take for raw materials and finished products.
  • Assist with goods-in procedures, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with GMP and H&S regulations.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy warehouse area, ensuring compliance with GMP and SOPs.
  • Collaborate with the facilities team to control offsite storage and ensure external areas are well-maintained.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in warehouse operations and/or facilities maintenance.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and complete tasks on time.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong time management, planning, and organising skills.
  • Comfortable with computer-based supply chain systems (SAP, JDE preferred).
  • Experience working in a regulated stock control environment (GMP) would be beneficial.
