Role Overview:

Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum, depending on experience

Hours: 40 Hours per week, Monday to Friday

Location: Basildon, Essex

Contract: Full Time and Permanent


Role Summary:

We are looking to recruit an experienced Warehouse Operative to join our Dispensary team, based in Basildon, Essex. The post holder will be responsible for receiving and dispatching deliveries, ensuring the product is received is correct and in good condition. They will ensure stock accuracy and product maintenance throughout the supply chain.


Role Duties:

  • Receive, inspect and check incoming deliveries
  • Pick, pack and dispatch outgoing deliveries
  • Coordinate stock transfers and complete stock checks
  • Raise purchase orders & invoices
  • Ensure GDP (Good Distribution Practice) area is always clean and tidy


Qualification/Experience for Role:

  • Experience with computer systems such as MS-Office, SAIL, Zero desirable
  • Experience within a Pharmaceutical/GXP background desirable
  • Fluency in spoken and written English required – GSCE/equivalent level desirable
  • Ability to analyse potential issues/risks and develop and implement practical resolutions
  • Ability to manage potentially complex workloads and meet expectations


Our Client

A private clinic, with linked pharmacy, which specialises in assisting patients who may not have found satisfactory results for their conditions via their existing medications. They work with consultants specialising within pain, psychiatry, neurology, palliative care and cancer, so their patients can receive their prescribed medication directly to their door, via next-day delivery service. Their prescribed medicines are produced and manufactured according to the pharmaceutical-grade EU-GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice.)
