Warehouse Operative

Join our dynamic and fast-paced team as a Warehouse Operative! We are currently seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our client's expanding warehouse operations in Petersfield. This is a temporary position.

At our client's warehouse, you will play a vital role in ensuring that all products are handled and stored efficiently and accurately. Your main responsibilities will include operating a pallet truck and safely moving goods to the designated storage areas. As a Warehouse Operative, you will be part of a dedicated team that strives to maintain the highest standards of productivity and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating a pallet truck to move goods within the warehouse
• Safely storing products in the designated storage areas
• Ensuring accurate stock checks and inventory control
• Maintaining a clean and organised warehouse environment
• Assisting with loading and unloading vehicles as required
• Following all health and safety procedures at all times

What we're looking for:

• Previous experience operating a pallet truck is not essential but preferred
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Flexible and reliable with an excellent work ethic
• Able to work the late shift, from 3pm to 11pm, Monday to Friday

Working for our client, you will receive a competitive hourly rate ranging from £12 to £13 per hour, based on experience. In addition, you will have the opportunity to work alongside a supportive and friendly team who are dedicated to delivering outstanding service.

This position is conveniently located in Petersfield, with the office being just a short 16-minute walk from Petersfield train station. The location ensures easy access to public transportation options for your convenience.
