TEMPORARY WAREHOUSE OPERATIVES NEEDED IN TAMWORTH

WORKING AT LEAST 4 DAYS BUT MORE IF YOU WANT BETWEEN:

MONDAY - SUNDAY: 11.00AM - 11.00PM

PAY RATE: £12.36 PER HOUR BASIC

£18.54 PER HOUR OVERTIME PAID AFTER 37.5 HOURS WORKED

People Solutions are looking for Temporary Warehouse Operatives who can work at least four days between Monday - Sunday at our client's warehouse in Tamworth leading up to Mother's Day

Day to Day Duties

• The role is mainly packing and some picking using a hand scanner
• It is light work with no heavy lifting involved
• You will be required to stand up during working hours
• Packing products at stations
• Printing labels ready for dispatch
• Picking from the MEZZ area, using a hand scanner
• Some warehouse work may be required which can include loading and unloading
• Use of printing machines
• Sortation of small items
• This role may require some handling of packaged products containing alcohol

Essential Skills

• A can-do attitude and the willingness to learn is needed for this role
• Basic understanding of English – verbal and written
• Great timekeeping and attendance, our client is in their busiest period and needs all hands-on deck!
• Must have at least six months experience working in a warehouse, ideally picking orders for customer dispatch
• Must pass a basic English and numeracy test
• Must be able to prove your right to work in the UK 
• Must have your own transport or live local or within reasonable travelling distance to the site

 Training

• You will be trained on the job
• On your first day you are given a site tour and training
• Once completed, you will shadow a current worker until you are ready to get stuck in!
