Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Operative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations within the warehouse, ensuring that goods are received, stored, and dispatched efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accurately pick, pack, and dispatch orders in a timely manner

  • Load and unload deliveries using appropriate equipment (e.g., pallet truck, forklift if certified)

  • Carry out stock checks and inventory counts

  • Ensure goods are stored in the correct location and maintain stock accuracy

  • Keep the warehouse clean, organised, and compliant with health & safety standards

  • Report any damages, shortages, or discrepancies to the Warehouse Supervisor

  • Follow company procedures and processes at all times

  • Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily targets and deadlines

  • Operate handheld scanners and basic warehouse management systems (if applicable)

Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment (preferred but not essential)

  • Good level of physical fitness (manual handling required)

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills

  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently

  • Flexibility with working hours/shifts

  • Forklift licence (desirable, not essential)

  • Commitment to health and safety best practices
