We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Operative to join one of our team at Mercia Park, Swadlincote. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling various tasks within the warehouse, ensuring warehouse tasks are carried out efficiently whilst following all HS procedures

Job Description

Main Responsibilities:

• To be accountable for own and others health and safety whilst at work, operating in line with SSOW (safe systems of work) and company procedures to enable a safe working environment
• To raise any unsafe acts seen immediately with individual(s) concerned and immediate reporting of health and safety incidents to management
• Achieve set productivity and performance targets ensuring consistent quality standards are met
• Carrying out daily warehouse and/or production activities

Qualifications Requirements:

• Desirable - FLT License for Reach Truck Counter Balance
• Experience in a warehouse or production environment
• Desirable - Familiarity with warehouse management systems
• Ability to conduct and carry out warehouse and production tasks effectively
• Ability to lift objects safely and effectively
• Good health and safety knowledge
• Basic maths skills for inventory tasks
• Ability to work shifts AM and PM one week rotation from Monday to Friday
