Warehouse Supervisor
Warehouse Supervisor sought by leading designer and producer of contemporary, high end consumer products for global markets.
Operating in a modern facility and in an employee centric business which truly values it’s staff, you will supervise effectively a picking, packing and unloading team of 12.
Key duties of the Warehouse Supervisor will include:
- conducting morning briefings for daily shift
- ensuring compliance with all work practices and procedures
- managing and motivating the team
- training new employees
- allocating daily work tasks
- carrying out staff reviews and appraisals
- creating weekly KPI reports
- some occasional hands on picking/packing as required
- ensuring adherence to Health, Safety and Environmental procedures
- ensure all orders are picked and packed to a high standard to meet and surpass customer expectations
- supervise and control order picking, goods in, goods out operationsto ensure accuracy with minimal handling and stock damage
- manage stock takes at regular intervals
- follow procedures for planned maintenance of warehouse vehicles, machinery and equipment
- ensure high housekeeping standards at all times
- deploying team to meet daily operational requirements within warehouse
With a 'people first’ approach and a few years of Warehouse Supervisor experience behind you, you have a good understanding of warehouse flow and procedures and a natural ability to lead, organise and motivate teams. Experience of ERP desirable.
