Staffright Southend are recruiting for a experienced Warehouse & Yard Supervisor based in Romford Essex.
Please note this role requires you to have a full Forklift licence (in date and not in house)

This is a permanent placement with Full contract & interview.

Working hours:
Low season: Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm
High season: Monday to Friday (Saturdays may be required 7am to 1pm)
Wage: £30,000 - £35,000
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year

Warehouse duties:

· Receive goods at the loading/receiving dock
· Store received goods in the appropriate locations within the warehouse
· Check loads for damaged or missing items upon receipt
· Move and rearrange stock, either by hand or with heavy lifting equipment
· Keep careful records of everything that comes in and goes out of the warehouse
· Clean the space and ensure that goods don’t get damaged
· Oversee a small team and provide support and guidance to ensure that assigned tasks are carried out correctly and completed on time.
· Manage goods in & out calendar ensuring that deliveries and outgoing despatches are forward planned, making sure there is sufficient space for incoming deliveries and outgoing deliveries are prepared on time.
· Daily stock management including reviewing slow/non-moving stock and liaising with management to ensure that action is taken to prevent overflow.
· Load goods onto vehicles for shipping
· Pick and pack orders for dispatch
· Ensure delivery of materials to production lines in accordance with production standards
· Keep accurate stock records
· Carry out stock counts as and when required
· Keep paperwork up to date
· Ensure that all lifting and manoeuvring of product is carried out in accordance with manual handling procedures
· Operate in a safe manner complying with all health, safety and environmental requirements to ensure own and safety of others
· Handle any hazardous materials in an appropriate manner
· Production line support
· Ad hoc duties
· Work with in-house systems

· Counterbalance fork lift licence (essential)
· Flexi truck fork list licence (beneficial)
· Health and safety training (beneficial)
· COSHH training (beneficial)
