Our client has a great reputation for business and looking after their employees, they have been trading well over 50 years and are looking for an experienced Warehouse Team Leader to join their growing business. As they are professional and down to earth they are looking for someone who has a basic understanding of how a warehouse works, cares and is passionate about the day to day running and challenges within the warehouse and knows how to manage customers products and is confident to challenge workings to deliver the best for customers, someone who can allocate work to team members for smooth running of inbound and outbound.

Deliverables

• Assist the Operations Manager & Supervisor in the day to day operational activities ensuring that all kpi’s are met and the operation is complaint with the processes
• Assist with ensuring all safe systems of work are adhered to and that all company Health & Safety processes are up to date and reviewed within a timetable.
• Ensure all staff are aware of and comply with H&S standards, and all Site Safety Procedures are in place and current for all site operations.
• Assist in ensuring that the site is fully compliant with regulations in relation to company Health and Safety policy.
• Lead the team by example
• Maintain a clean and tidy warehouse and yard area at all times
• Lead and motivate the team, building a strong, committed and customer focused workforce ensuring operational performance targets, objectives and goals are achieved.
• Ensure all direct reports fully understand their role and responsibilities and are given the support and guidance
• Assist the Operations Supervisor to prepare all reports.
• Assist the Management Team to produce daily, weekly and monthly KPI’s as required for each customer in a timely manner.
