Our client in Basildon is looking for a Warehouse Team Leader to join their team.

• Temp - Perm £12.50-£13.50 per hour
• Location: Basildon
• Job Type: Full-time (Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30pm)

We are currently seeking a dedicated Warehouse Team Leader to oversee daily operations at our Basildon facility. This role is perfect for a proactive individual who excels in logistics and team management, ensuring that warehouse activities are executed efficiently and effectively,  managing a small team of 1-2 warehouse operatives

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff to ensure operational excellence.
• Work with the managers to ensure the warehouse runs efficently
• Ensure the safe use of warehouse equipment and adherence to health and safety regulations.
• Manage inventory levels, conduct stock checks, and ensure accurate record-keeping.
• Facilitate smooth inbound and outbound operations.
• Picking and packing of orders 
• Train new team members and promote a positive work environment.

• Proven experience as a Warehouse Team Leader or similar supervisory role.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage teams.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
• Knowledge of warehouse software packages and MS Office proficiency.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and remain standing for extended periods.
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
