Location - Goole, DN14 8GA

Hours - Monday - Friday, 13:00pm - 19:30pm

We’re currently looking to recruit a Waste Operative who will be responsible for the coordinating and handling of the waste management on site at the Goole Rail Village, dealing with all aspects of waste from the buildings. Reporting into the Cleaning Team Leader, you will accurately sign consignment notes and waster transfers, book in waste collection, load waste into designated skips and deep clean external areas.

In this role you will be required to use and manage baler and compacters aligning with the health and safety rules; you will also be required to drive site vehicles and a utility buggy as and when required.

As an Apleona Waste Operative, we’re looking for:

  • Experience working in a similar type of role and/or environment
  • UK Driving Licence (essential)
  • Experience of reading, understanding & producing risk assessments
  • Experience of handling waste
  • Physical ability to undertake all manual work associated with the role
  • Maths and English skills, written & oral English to a good standard
