My client is a well established and growing business who, as part of their expansion are seeking a highly competent and experienced Leak Detection Technician to join their team.

The role comes with a very competitive salary, company vehicle, bonus scheme and overtime if you want to do it.

Based from home and covering client residential properties, mainly via insurance companies throughout Herts, Beds, Bucks, Berks, London and sometimes further out. Thsi is mainly a Monday to Friday role but once every 4-6 weeks working on a Saturday which is paid at time and a half. They havea staff recognition scheme, bonus scheme and retain their staff as they treat them well.

This is a pure Leak Detection role but opportunties to train onto the drying side of the business if you want.

Responsibilities will include:-

• Attend water damaged properties and assess damage
• Provide trace and access/leak detection reports
• Undertake any leak detection or trace and access works which will include water leaks in cold and hot feed lines and underfloor heating and heating circuit leaks
• Use of a variety of equipment - competent in acoustic profiling, thermal imaging, gas tracer equipment and dye testing
• White detailed reports and schedules of works
• Perform risk assessments and other Health and Safety led paperwork
• Install drying programs and other equipment
• Assist and manage stripping out of the properties to assist in the program of works
• Manage and mentor junior members of staff and lead jobs from start to completion.

My client is seeking a person with at least 3 years experience of hands on Leak Detection experience, excellent communication skills both written and verbal and a strong grasp of plumbing processes and building construction.
