My rapidly growing client are seeking a drive, detail orientated digital shopkeeper to manage their Shopify web stores and app. Responsible for managing the website, my client are seeking someone with an eye for detail, who can report on performance and use the latest analytics to optimise, and problem solve.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and maintain both the front-end and back-end of multiple e-commerce websites and associated digital platforms.
• Regularly update and optimise product listings, descriptions, and multimedia content using the appropriate content management systems (CMS).
• Implement and manage e-commerce features such as shopping carts, checkout processes, and payment gateways.
• Collaborate with developers, designers, and external service providers to resolve technical issues and ensure website functionality.

• Utilise analytics tools to monitor and interpret data related to website traffic, user behaviours, and sales performance.

• Implement SEO best practices to improve organic search rankings and increase online visibility.

• Oversee content updates, including product descriptions, images, and blog posts, ensuring they align with the brand’s image.
• Work closely with content creators and marketing teams to align website content with ongoing campaigns.
• Launch new products across all websites and ensure seasonal content is accurately represented and implement promotional discounts and sale periods.

• Monitor website security and implement measures to protect against potential threats.

The Candidate:

• Proven experience in web management, e-commerce, or a related role.
• Knowledge and experience of development languages; HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP.
• Proficiency with major e-commerce platforms (Shopify) and a deep understanding of their features and capabilities.
• Strong analytical skills with experience using web analytics tools.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices and their application in e-commerce.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
