Weekend Music Travel Consultant

If you’re a Galileo trained Travel Consultant who is motivated by a busy and exciting job PLUS has a passion for the music industry, we have a fantastic opportunity available!

Our client is a specialised travel company who look after the travel requirements for the music industry. They are looking for a Travel Consultant who is driven by providing exceptional service and has the utmost attention to detail to cover those weekend hours where last minute changes in schedules still happen!

This role involves being the first port of call for your clients outside of "normal" office hours. Handling the travel for largely DJ’s and production staff as they travel the world performing in venues ranging in size, you’ll be the one that answers their call/emails when they need to make amendments to their planned travel.

You will be:

• Booking all mean of travel on the GDS system (Galileo)

• Working Saturday and Sunday *day times only, no overnights* covering out of hours

• Negotiating group rates with airlines and hotels if necessary

• Offering alternatives to your client when their preferred choice or airline or hotel isn’t available or within budget

• Working quickly, efficiently and autonomously

• Reacting to last minute travel changes and reschedules with ease and knowledge.

• Working from home (UK please) - there will be some initial training in the London office

This weekend music travel consultant role will suit you if you have:

• A background in either business travel, entertainment travel or strong tailor made experience.

• Galileo knowledge is essential

• Great airlines fares knowledge including net fares and route deals.

• Ticketing and re-issuing experience

• Able to work Saturday & Sundays, plus you could also pick up some shifts during the week to increase earning potential if you wanted to.
