Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Weekend Plant Maintenance Technician to join our clients team in Cwmfelinfach. As a Plant Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of machinery and equipment within their recycling facility. Your primary duties will include performing routine maintenance, Cleaning, Sweeping, troubleshooting issues, and conducting repairs to minimize downtime and ensure optimal equipment performance.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify any potential issues or areas for improvement.

- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as lubricating machinery, replacing parts, and conducting preventive maintenance measures.

- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions, utilizing your technical expertise to identify the root cause of problems.

- Carry out necessary repairs and adjustments to restore equipment functionality, adhering to safety protocols and industry standards.

- Cleaning and Sweeping 

- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including maintenance logs, repair reports, and equipment performance data.

- Report to Maintenance Supervisor

Requirements

- Experience with hand tools 

- Sweeping and cleaning as required 

- Problem-solving skills 

- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

- Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Hours

- Saturday and Sunday 6am - 5pm

- Weekend Rate £15.28 per hour 

- Weekday shifts may be available if desired to cover holiday
